  1. Hello together from germany. M96.05 is in a VW Beetle 72, as a middle engine with Boxster S Transmission. There is placed a free programmable ECU Ecumaster black. I would be really happy to receive some important information: - parameters, if valve lift is low or high - variocam is not only retard-advanced, like models before, but stageless (i think there are 3 or more stages definied) how does the activation work to the solenoid? With one cable, should be PWM. It would be helpful to know the frequency of the PWM. Sadly, i have no car available to test around and measure... A map for the cam adjust would be very helpful. - ignition maps would be perfect, in dependence of Valve lift and cam advance and everything ;-) If you cannot help me with the detailed information, i would start like: - soft ignition table - valve lift high from 1800rpm to the end (take/give 100rpm) - cam advance from 1500-5500rpm, going more advance in the middle of that What do you think of start like that?
