  1. Hi all, My new-to-me C4 with 40k miles has a small leak. I changed the gear oil yesterday with 3L mobilube PTX and I noticed that there was some oil buildup at the manual transmission mount bracket. I figured it was just the gear oil that I was pumping... but I was suspicious. I checked my garage floor again today and sure enough, there's a small (5-10 cc) puddle of oil on the floor. It smells vaguely like the transmission oil, but I'm not certain. Could be engine oil, could be brake/clutch fluid. I jacked up the car and took a look, and there was a droplet again on the
  2. Bumping this old topic. Im looking to change the front differential and clutch fluid on my 2008 C4. As far as I understand it: front diff fluid, same as transmission oil (Mobilube PTX, 1.5 L) is changed as the above referenced 996 link. And diff clutch fluid (aka final drive?) is 000-043-305-40... and is changed from the rear of the car near the transmission? This I am unsure about.
