    Looking for a 1999 996 w/very low miles
  1. Ah the old intemediate shaft failure! Makes a guy want to cry! I have a brand new GT2 motor and it still clanks:) Not like it was before the swap though. The whole experience really made me HATE porsche! At least Porsche gave me the full treatment. Without lube. Call me if you like! I actually got alot of help from Kevin at UMW. Super guy! Nothing like blowing $80k on a used car with 13k miles that develops a serious issue at 14k!
  2. I searched but found no thread that showed pictures like mine. I wanted someone to chime in and see if this situation is just a trim or OEM parts fix:) I do appreciate your help though. Any idea on the cost of these vents?
  3. I know but my car is a replica bumper. Do I still need the ducts? If so whats that cost?
  4. I bought a used GT2 bumper from a member a while back like 6months ago. He said he bought and had it installed by Evoms. It is a urethane bumper. Any how I noticed I may have to trim my inner fender since where the side markers are it flares out slightly. My install issues are 1. Flares out on each side by the side markers. 2. Outside temp mounting issue. Seems to be no place to attach it. NOT PICTURED 3. The opening in the front does not line up with the ducting to the middle radiator. Do I need another peice? It does not look that bad. Here is a pic of the side f
  5. I am having this same problem on my 2002TT x50. Car has only 16k miles! It is out of warranty. Price is $11k. I was told by porsche we have a no good will policy in place! WTF. How can a car with low miles, well taken care of have a issue like this! I wish porsche would do something even just parts or labor something! This will probably be the last porsche I buy!
  6. As the title says I wonder if anyone has been successful in buying a new 997 or 997s at Dealer invoice? Or better:) I really am looking to buy a basic model the option is navigation Maybe. The color must be either artic Silver or seal grey w/black interior. I would travel for it. I am such a cheap bastard! Thanks Guys Ralph
