  1. Car unfortunately still has the same problem. The last time i took it in they didnt solve the problem. ive been driving it since then and it just keeps on happening. They changed all 8 coils and still its the same. My car is going in for 60,000 kms major service in about 6000 kms, ill make sure that they dont give it back to me till this problem is solved. Im also renewing my warranty for another year.

  2. Strange thing happened to the my 04 Turbo the past few days. the turn signal within the main headlight was not working from time to time. I would restart the car and it would work fine, when the headlights would come on it would go off again and the warning light would come up. Took it to the dealer to have a quick look, he removed the headlight and checked the wire and it was fine when i was there. The next day it started up again. Now however when i would flash the high beam, the check high beam light shows up ironically its also the same side of the faulty turn signal. However when i checked it visually from the outside high beam is working but the turn signal wasnt but both warning were on the display. turned of the car and then back on turn signal works when lights go on it fails and when high beam selected it fails too.

Any idea whats the exact problem? :notworthy:

  3. Ive been having a recurring problem on my cayenne turbo, when i press the brakes and stop the RPM drops as soon as i stop and then goes back up, also when on low revs on the 5th and 6th gear the engine shudders and only gets back to normal when i give it more gas. any hints on whats exactly causing this to happen?

Have your dealer replace the ignition coils and plugs. The 1st generation versions are known to crack early on. Mine cracked at about 11,000 miles. We discovered on the Dyno that my 04 turbo was not making the hp it was supposed to be making. After the coils and plugs were replaced, I got all my horsepower back!

They have replaced the ignition coils and spark plugs twice already during the life of the car. Some people told me it might be the cam sensors or the fuel pump and i told them to check them both.

DME has been updated to latest software and they will verfy that as well today.

Will let you guys know what happens when i get the car back next week.

    THanks :) :renntech:

  4. After careful thought, i think i will go for the Turbo after all :D The car is scheduled for April Production. Dealer had it preordered so i found the following options, would appreciate your feedback on them, dealer said its hard to change the options at this point! is that a fact?

    Jarama Beige Havanna Interior

All the standard bells and whistles plus the following

    Options Selected:

    20" Techno Design Wheels

    Smooth Leather Seats

    Off Road Package

    Electro Comfort Package

    Light Wood Steering Wheel

    Thermal Insulated Glass

    Compass Display

    Sports Tail Pipe

    Servotronic Wheel

    Stainless Steel Skid PLate

    Roof Rail

    Manual Sunscreens

    Light Wood Package

Telephone Module with 2 Active Recievers

Does anyone know if the sports tail pipe does anything to the exhaust sound?

    Thanks!
