TY JFP, will certainly do so! Will be out of area for the next week, so she will have to sit patiently until I can get back to her.

Good evening!
New 2016 Cayman (Base) owner, please be patient - it is my first.
Took my car down to town (about 35 miles), got into city traffic. Came to a light, stopped at idle, noticed the oil pressure tanked (0), the engine gave a slight "lurch," and pressure climbed to 18 - 20 psi. Under load oil pressure ran 30 - 36 psi. This occurred a total of three times, then settled down for the remainder of the drive - until I got home, where, once again, the pressure dropped to -0-, engine lurched a bit, and pressure ran back to 20 psi. Purchased at 12,998 miles, currently at 13,140. Car has not been "over-revved" by me, and had previously been "Porsche Certified" prior to my purchase. I am leaning towards oil pump, based upon the engine slightly heaving before the pressure comes up. Suggestions?
Thank you all in advance!

It was so simple...engine shut off at stop lights, back on when foot came off the brakes, just as designed. Turned THAT little feature OFF! TY for not laughing too hard at a newbie!
