  1. UPDATE: we flushed and changed the transmission fluid and filter and it fixed the issue. Runs like brand new and had it in the mountains at high speeds / rpm and not a single issue.
  2. Thanks for the quick reply. It goes in tomorrow for a fluid / flush / filter replacement. I don't know when it was changed last because I got it at the auction and yet to receive all the paperwork. My mechanic thought the easiest and cheapest would be to do exactly what you suggested. Once you lose the transmission (Engine still works fine) and put it in park, you are good to go. I'll update you after the flush and fluid replacement.
  3. it happens on occasion, but when you put the pedal down quickly the car will lose all power. Pull over, put in park, then drive, it works fine. This is an automatic. IMS has already been changed and fault codes 50/51 came up. Any ideas?
