  1. I've unfortunately got a commuter mug caught under the seat and it seems to have messed it up, it doesn't go forward and back just seems to rotate. Looking under it it seems pretty complex and difficult to remove and fix. Anyone done this job? Looking at it I don't have the slightest idea where to start. I'm afraid this is going to be big bucks to fix, may not bother until I have plans to sell, don't really need the seat to move anyway. Seeing the benefits of having manual seats for sure.
  2. I'm a little confused on what parts are needed for this job. Getting a bit of oil smoke on start up after car sits and only after being shut down cold. Probably not a big issue but thought while doing the major would make sense to replace, I don't think it's been done and it's at 60K. Pelican Parts has articles on it but their links for parts don't seem entirely accurate and I'm concerned it's not going to the right parts. Is there both an internal and external AO sep.? Internal I assume means in crankcase or maybe valve cover, not looking to crack those open at this point, am I correct? So if it's the external I'm replacing what other parts need replacement as well? I'm thinking the vent hose and o ring gasket I'm seeing. Was going to order from Pelican Parts but any other recommended sources? I appreciate part numbers if you've got them.
