Darren Weingard started following locking - beeps one or sometimes twice - what is the answer?
Success! After denying this was a repeatable error I forced my dealer to get on the phone with Germany. A month later they scheduled me for an appointment (today) to program a new code fix. Now it works properly. Two beeps always unless I do a quick second tap on the fob. I don't have keyless entry. They were cryptic about what the fix was so trying to attach a copy of the work order in case it helps you.
I have 2018 718 Cayman GTS (4 weeks old) WITHOUT entry and drive and I have this exact problem. Sometimes two beeps, sometimes one beep. Can never figure out why. It's not just limited to entry and drive. All my windows are closed. And I (of course) only use the FOB.
