  1. Chuck, Have you replaced the top yet. I am just starting my search for a new top (2000 996). Where did you end up buying from? Thanks, Tony
  2. Motor mounts are fairly cheap, I had mine replaced while they were mounting my EVO SC... It still not to late, The SC should not rest on anything...also, they might not honor your warranty if something goes wong with the SC, due to improper installation. Who did your install? My local dealer did the install. We finally got a hold of someone at Evo and they told me on older cars they do change the motor mounts because they start to sag after a while.
  3. The reason I ask is because I just had the Evo supercharger installed. In order to get the sc mounted they had to shim the motor mounts. Is it possible that they are worn causing the motor to sag? The sc is now kind of resting on the frame. I don't really like this situation and I'm trying to figure out what the real problem is and how to properly fix it. Thanks, Tony
  4. Do 996 motor mounts ever wear out? How would I know?
