Yes, I'd only settle for an OEM top in this situation.

I'm not sure if that's a good price, but yea they're nice to have. If there's only two of us at hwy speeds I always have it in. With the seat heaters on and the heat blowing to the floor we can cruise down to 50 degrees w/the top down comfortably. It doesn't cut down on storage as it protects things from blowing out.

There should be a card in your manual folder w/it. If not your dealer should be able to look it up.

If you've got PCM the DSP and EQ settings will show up when you hook up a DSP amp. I've got a used DSP amp I'd sell (the stock 6x40). I wouldn't recommend using it as an upgrade though.

I just did this replacing my subs. Unsnap the cover on the grab handle. Behind this are two T30 Torx screws. There is also a plastic screw in the armrest (careful, it strips easily), a 3mm allen screw behind the airbag plug, and a phillips screw behind the latch (I forgot to mark this one in the pic). The triangular panel near the rearview mirror unsnaps at the base and slides up. Once you remove all the screws the door panel unsnaps around the bottom, front and rear edges, then slide it up and out of the window seal channel. There's a few plugs to disconnect and the latch if you want it all the way off. Voilà!

PSE here as well. :) It's about $1500.00 and a fairly easy DIY if you don't do the electronics. Most find they don't want them. If you shift around 3500 rpms it's not too loud.

I've done a search and can't come up with anything. I've got the Becker keys and I've removed the pieces around the unit. I just can't figure out where to slide them in to get it out. :help:

EDIT: I figured it out, no need for Becker keys - Remove trim pieces on either side, unhook wire harnesses from switches and locate four torex screws. The thing is huge!!

Porsche Motor Sports sell a kit for the oil starvation issue for the 3.4l - it ain't cheap though.

Ok, here's one w/the top up (I have to tip them to the side while it closes).

I only live a mile from the course I usually play on; many times I'll take the boat there.

I've also got a hole set up in the yard w/two different tee off areas.

Mine fits in the back (Cleveland) - it's much easier to get in w/the top down though.
