  1. Hey guys, so I'm not sure exactly how long this has been going on, probably a year but I am getting around to fixing it finally. Anyways, my spoiler warning light is coming on Everytime the spoiler raises or is supposed to raise. Assume it is raising automatically, I'm not sure about lowering but whenever I use the button to raise the spoiler or reach speeds that initiate it's automatic deployment the dashboard warning light comes on. The button raises and lowers it properly , but even when the button is used once the spoiler deploys the warning light comes on. Any 5houghts as to what to do to fix it?
  2. That's what I've done. After clearing all the faults, I waited a day and then rechecked the listed faults. The only listed fault was alarm fault 47. I believe it has something to do with the drivers side door. I say this because earlier today I was seeing how the car reacted when attempting to lock it under different scenarios. When the driver's door is open and I attempt to lock it the cars alarm horn beeps once. When I shut the driver's door and open the passengers door and try to lock it the cars alarm horn beeps twice, and when both doors are shut when I try to lock it the car beeps twice.
  3. I have a 2000 986 boxster with the issue that whenever I try to use the key fob lock/unlock function you hear the car lock then it sounds like it attempts to lock again followed by the alarm horn sounding twice. From this state the only way to unlock the car is to use the key manually on the driver's side and the passenger side has to be unlocked from inside by using the door handle twice. I recently purchased a durametric and the alarm fault code it gives is 47. Anyone know what this code means and what do to begin troubleshooting this problem and get my car back to where it will unlock with the remote key fob? Thanks guys
