  1. Yes. Thank you, I was coming to that conclusion. I have tried flipping the LED’s to no avail. Put the old incandescent bulbs back and the result is the same, no footwell lighting. I was hoping somebody had experience this same situation before and could help find the bad contact spot. Thank you
  2. Hi, I’m in the process of replacing my courtesy lights’ bulbs, and decided to go with LED’s. My footwell lights do not work (but they have not worked for a long time). I’m trying to debug the reason why they do not work, and I’m not sure it is related to the LED upgrade (because they were not working before), so here is something I found: the light enclosure for the glove box is the same (in appearance) as the footwell enclosure, both enclosures work in the glove box, but both of them do not work in the footwell. The enclosure for the glove box, comes with a diode (see photo) but the footwell enclosure does not. has anyone come across this? Has anyone come across the footwell lights (only) not working but all the others do? The car is stored for the winter with the battery removed. Is there a need to reset the vehicle once the battery is installed? Would the lack of a rest cause the footwell lights not to work? Everything else works as it should. Thanks in advance for any feed back, Lino
