  1. and I suppose while we are on the topic .. are each of the other functions on the remote .. so door locks and the rear hatch lock have to programmed separately and also require codes and again is it something they require while programming or something I can do post delivery.. tia
  2. I did find a shop that has proper porsche PIWIS tester ... the fob and kessy were supposedly programmed .. my question now would be after recieving the security codes .. does the kessy and fob have to go back for reprogramming as the codes were required first or will i be able to enter the security codes .. thanks for your input
  3. 2004 cayenne s turbo awd Purchased vandalized and original fob not supplied .. was result of relationship breakup .extent of damage was mostly aesthetic ... keyed outside quarter panels . Slashed seats . Smashed out rear glass .and original fob tossed away.. . sent in kessy, ignition cylinder .. purchased blank fob to company for reprogramming .. not porsche .. as I would have to trailer it to take it there .. disconnected and removed and recharged battery before removing kessy ignition cylinder ... reinstall upon arrival leaving battery for last .. notice fob doesnt open doors .. lights up everything when turned on dashboard and nav unit. Lights sunroof roof ect .But does nothing when engaged to start .. shows some unit suspension error.. and nav unit screen doesnt come in properly .....nor work .no radio cd changer or phone function... . some other symbols up on dash .. looking for a place to start or way to bypass to ensure vehicle runs tonconfirm claims of running order from owner previous to vandalization .. looking for anyway to avoid porsche and have got most of the aesthetics repaired . Seats to go .. covers for now until i confirm extent of remaining repairs .. any input here would be awesome .. Thanks in advance
