im sorry about my lack of knowledge in this area .. but just so I understand it .. so lets assume first that I have found a shop that has the proper testing and coding device .. and I have no problem saying that I found a link on ebay that has a banner that shows this shop can reprogram the car to the fob .. so as I mentioned before.. I removed battery .. then removed  kessy module .. ignition cylinder and sent in the Porsche  key previously purchased on ebay.. and the kessy and ignoiotion cylinder away to this company in Ontario for reprogramming.. I received the package back about 10 days later and began the reassembly in reverse so I installed the ignition c\ylinder , the kessy module and then  reinstalled the recharged battery in good condition back into the vehicle .. I tried the door locks at that point and no success.. put the key in the ignition and turned it to power position and the dash and nav and other things light up in the car. I push the brake pedal and try for ignition and nothing .. move the shifter to neutral position and nothing .. remove and reattach negative terminal and nothing.. So to clarify at what point are these codes required .. should I have secured them before I sent the module and ignition cylinder and key away and provided them with the information or is it something that should stay with the owner and not provide it and its something I can do upon its return... Thanks very much in advance and as it is an ebay purchase in which I paid a fairly good chunk of change for.., I do believe they will have to take it back free of charge and do it again .. I understand that in a perfect world .. I would take it f]directly to Porsche but as I am from a small ruraql town it requires a lot of time amd effort to get it there and back.. not to mention the cost .. is your advise that it very nearly necessary to take it to Porsche . I have every confidence that they have theproper tester .. I am unsure of their ability of course as I cant physically go there and confirm their claims .. I am pretty much taking them at their word.

The car has to be programmed to the Kessy fob (not the other way around).

You must have the car's security codes and use a Porsche PIWIS tester. There is no other way that I am aware of.

You need to find a shop with a Porsche PIWIS tester and then you as the legal car owner needs to go a Porsche dealer and request your security codes - you may be required to show proof of ownership.

Purchased vandalized and original fob not supplied .. was result of relationship breakup .extent of damage was mostly aesthetic ... keyed outside quarter panels

. Slashed seats . Smashed out rear glass .and original fob tossed away.. . sent in kessy, ignition cylinder .. purchased blank fob to company for reprogramming .. not porsche .. as I would have to trailer it to take it there .. disconnected and removed and recharged battery before removing kessy ignition cylinder

... reinstall upon arrival leaving battery for last .. notice fob doesnt open doors .. lights up everything  when turned on dashboard and nav unit. Lights sunroof roof ect .But  does nothing when engaged to start  .. shows some unit suspension error.. and nav unit screen doesnt come in properly .....nor work .no radio cd changer or phone function... . some other symbols up on dash .. looking for a place to start or way to bypass to ensure vehicle runs tonconfirm claims of running order from owner previous to vandalization .. looking for anyway to avoid porsche and have got most of the aesthetics repaired

. Seats to go .. covers for now until i confirm extent of remaining repairs .. any input here would be awesome .. Thanks in advance
