  1. Hello would anyone know if the durametric 3 vin version will look into the alarm system on my 2002 Carrera 4 my cluster won't shut down and I'm thinking it may be in there. Thank you
  2. Hi joe thank you for your patience on this. Ive done no work on the car when this started to happen. windows drop and rise when I open and shut the doors as they would but the passenger one doesn't drop as much as the drivers. It still happens if I lock the car with fob or key. Alarm seems to be functioning correctly lock once fob or key no beep... Lock twice horn beep once that is inside disabled. Leave console open it beeps, leave glove box open it beeps, I'm going to see if I can get hold of durametric Porsche scan tool to see what codes it throws up I too think it the alarm system somewhere not shutting the cluster down.
  3. Thanks Loren would a durametric work for this? The enthusiast version? Thank you.
  4. Loren I even tried 2 new switches just in case one of new ones was faulty
  5. No Loren when I first noticed the cluster wasn't turning off the 1st job I did was to replace the switch
  6. Mileage/ clock/ digital 0mph stay on constant when I have locked the car. I have it on a ctek all the time I'm not using it. When I enter the car the lights are already on( never went out) put in the key turn to position one oil countdown working fine and starts and runs absolutely fine. If I don't use the CTEK trickle charger it will not turn the engine over within 2-3 days. I've had new ignition switch new alternater I've even tried changing the cluster and that did not work either.
  7. Did that Loren I even got another compatible cluster connected that and mileage light still stays on
  8. Hi Loren I've checked for water ingress under passenger seat and its bone dry. I already put a new ignition switch electrical part on with no effect. The car alarm sets as it should with no beepsi ive noticed a relay under the same seat with the no 53 on it would you say because the alarm works ok that this relay would be ok too . Any help is appreciated.
  9. Hi loren thank you for your reply I have changed out the ignition switch but with no effect will look under the seat in the morning and will let you know. Regards gavin.
