  1. Thanks I'm not sure this is my engine though..I have a 022Y engine and the oil filter is fitted from the underneath. In the diagram you have posted it looks like that filter is fitted from above?
  2. Hi All I have been getting a 'Oil pressure too low' warning on the Instrument Cluster. I have just attached the durametric and get an oil temperature reading of 54 degrees as it was warming up so all seems OK there. But I have a 0.00 voltage reading on the Engine Oil Temperature (sensor) so am assuming it is faulty and needs a replacement. I have a 2005 Cayenne 3.2 S so could anyone tell me where the Oil Temperature sensor is as searching for it has not revealed it. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be appreciated. Thanks
  3. Hi All I have a wiring harness that goes from the Transmission control unit (under the passenger seat) to the transmission under the body of the car via a cur though under the passenger seat. I have checked the wiring harness and there is no part number anywhere. The only number I can find is a VW Audi part number for the head that goes into the transmission control unit and that part number is 7M3 973 373 but I don't think that is going to help. Update 24th March So I managed to find a photograph of the part number displayed in the picture but that is definitely not the harness I need. The harness I am after has a very large plastic connector on the Transmission Control Unit under the passenger seat Part Number VW 09D 927 750 AT. it then goes out under the seat into the underbelly of the Cayenne and then onto the transmission casing where there is the plastic connector that is adjoins (bottom right of the gearbox - Pic 2. The guy at the Porsche Part dealer could not help as he could not find it on any of the diagrams. So i'm a bit stuck to say the least. Thanks Tiprtonic Control Harness.pdf
  4. try checking the vacuum hoses. Mine have just split and the idel was rough as anything...replaced them and all good.
  5. Could someone kindly tell me what this hose is with the tape on. It splintered today in the 2 parts where the 'running repair of the tape is' so I need a replacement and don't know what to ask for when I telephone the dealers. The car is a 2005 Cayenne 3.2 S Thanks
  6. Hi All I have an rattle coming from all the speakers when the radio is on - it is more noticeable when their is speaking by a DJ etc.. I have tried changing the base and treble and front and rear fade etc but no success. It comes from all speakers so I think that they have been pushed to their limit by previous owners. The system is a non-bose / non amplifier system. Does anyone know of any replacement speakers that I can get so that I can change them. I do not want to pay a fortune as I'm not a true audiophile...just want the rattle to stop. Thanks for any assistance - Phil
  7. Great post...does anyone know what the torx size is to remove the bolts?
  8. I have just bought a second hand Cayenne 2005 S. The steering wheel controls do not work at all, no lights or tiptronic and when I start up I get an airbag warning. I have checked all fuses in the drivers side and the passengers side - all are working that are in place (not sure if one is missing). Does anyone have any idea what to check or access to a diagram so I can start tracing the fault to see where to look. Thanks
