  1. There has to be a procedure out there for removal and replacement in a workshop manual somewhere. I don’t want to take my wheel off unless I have to. I’ve taken the plastic cover off to get into wiring but before I go any further and do unnecessary work I’m hoping someone can help.
  2. Hey everybody! I have a new to me 2001 996TT. I bought the car knowing it had this fault thinking I could fix it. I have the newest Durametric and the code 4440 comes up. I have the ABS and PSM light on and my ABS doesn't work due to this I think along with PSM i assume. I have tried to use the Durametric to calibrate the steering angle sensor with no success. I am now trying to troubleshoot to see if in fact the sensor is bad. I cannot find a diagram to tear into the steering column to find the plug to test the terminals. I do have the testing procedure from the workshop manual but thats about it. This has been very frustrating as I like all things to work correctly and it's gotta be fixed. I appreciate anyone's help!
