  1. Hi, I'm having a problem when I start my car first time or after it been sitting for more than 10 minutes, doesn't matter if the engine is cold or hot and also a strong smell of petrol/gas comes out of the exhaust. Car is a Cayenne 955 2006 3.2 V6 Right hand drive. I removed the fuel pump covers, so I could check for any leak or smell but everything looks fine. Basically the car is losing fuel pressure on the fuel rails, i've checked the rail pressure valve and if I press it petrol/gas valve just after turning off the car, petrol will spray out, but if I do this 10 minutes after only air is coming out. Also after this 10 minutes you can hear the fuel returning to the tank, I was lucky getting that as I was installing the covers back when I heard the fuel going back. I've made some videos to show the problem, any help would be appreciated. Videos: 1st start car struggles to start (engine cold or hot doesn't matter), 2nd and 3rd start no problems Starting after 5 minutes sitting, no problems... If you leave the car sitting for 10 minutes or more, the problem comes back. I tried removing the fuses to see if the pumps were the problem: Removing fuse 13 the car continues to run and Removing fuse 14 the car dies after a few seconds Car starts and run without fuse 13 Car starts and dies after a few seconds without fuse 14
