  1. Did any of you have trouble getting the torx bolts out. Is there a special torx tool? Mine won't budge.
  2. Thank you. It looks like that thread will solve my problem. My current problem is that I can't break the torx bolt free. I just reemed the handle of my torx 30 screw driver. The sockets I have won't fit into the hole. Do I have to buy a special torx 30 Porsche tool? I don't want to break or strip the torx bolt.
  3. It's the B3 that burned. I assume there's a short somewhere. Do I need to pull the steering wheel to confirm that short. If so, it's beginning to sound like something I need to take to a dealer. Thanks for your time.
  4. Do you have any idea why the fuse would be burning or why the horn honks at will after I start the car with a new fuse?
  5. I've had a 99 996 c-2 for three months now. Last week the horn started honking at will. Then it quit working. A horn would still sound when I locked the doors with the remote. It sounded like a different horn though. I checked the fuse box and found a 25 amp fuse had burned. The manual says it requires a 30 amp fuse. This leads me to believe it has been replaced before. I replaced it with another 25 amp fuse. That made the horn work. However, the horn that sounded when I locked the car no longer worked. Furthermore, after I started the car and drove it, the horn immediately started honking on it's own and then blew the fuse about three minutes later. Now no horns sound. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Cy Maddox
