  1. Sorry I didn't see your responce. I place it in the right most center vent so it doesn't block the AC controls only the cup holder. Search for: Arkon Removable Air Vent Mount For Garmin nuvi Sears.com had good pictures.
  2. I found a clip that snaps onto a vet and I clip in into the vents in the center of the dash. It takes 2 seconds to remove and leaves no marks.
  3. The trick my father taught me was to look for the light from the other cars headlights that's reflected of the power lines that run along most streets (at least in north eastern us.) Works well on hills and 50/50 on turns.
  4. There's TONS of Boxsters advertised in Houston for around $13k give or take. It's a rough car market right now. When I was selling my 2004 SUV last year, I watched Blue Book fall almost $1k a month as gas prices skyrocketed. That was really depressing. I got an email from the dealer last week saying the were offering above market value for boxster trade-ins because of demand.
  5. And how are you going to program it to your 986? While Yes the $400 is extremely excessive it usually includes programming so it actually works on your car. Do you have a PST2 or access to one? But if all you need is the top plate because the rubber buttons have failed then your all set.
