  1. Thanks Loren. It was actually a shop that works on a fair amount of Porsche's.
  2. I was told if I used Mobil 1 synthetic oil I would have to use an additive. But if I used Luiqi Moly oil no additive is necessary. If an additive is necessary with Mobil 1, what is that additive? thanks, Paul 2014 911S with 3.8L
  3. Thanks for the input. I ended up putting a quart of oil in. It now shows 3 green bars
  4. Thanks for the reply.. But do I trust the repair facility that they put in the proper amount? Or do I trust the display on the dash?
  5. 2014 911S Carrera Cabriolet. Just had shop do an oil change. I got home and checked the oil level on the dash display. It showed it was at the very minimum. I called shop. They stated they did indeed add 8 qts of oil as vehicle calls for. They also said they see a fair amount of problems with the electronic oil dipstick. I don't know what to do. Do I trust that they did add the right amount? Do I add oil and possibly over fill? I have not had any issues with the dipstick previously. Any recommendations?
