  1. running into same code 0492 for secondary hose on a 2004 C Turbo if anyone can give a quick hint as to where it is and cheapest way to fix or patch. No emissions checks where I am but don't want the code to come up every time I drive. Thanks in advance.
  2. Here we are in 2023 and I'm having the same issue as @memomartin here in the states with my 04 Cayenne T. In addition the stereo doesn't remember any station settings or even appear to have maps as it comes on and says Maps not available, CD changer not available. Is there an internal battery that the stereo uses for memory or is it just not hooked up correctly after a previous owner tried to install an aftermarket system (he did and removed it). It appears to be reset back to original default (12/08/03), and honestly and regretfully much of what you guys are printing here is Greek to me. How do I find the PCM version I'm on? and where might we find some discs? My dealer is 1.5 hours drive from me in Atlanta. :o THanks, all. @Richard Hamilton!
  3. To be honest, a Cayenne (2006 Turbo S) was the last "first Porsche" i thought I'd ever buy, but I'm considering it. This first Gen are old now, but there just seems to be so much bang for the buck if well-maintained. Thanks to you all RENNsters over the years I've worked up this list. Someone care to put it in the right order of importance for me? Thanks in advance! - Curious & in need of HP in Georgia. Checklist: Have coils been replaced, ? rear hatch struts been replaced? Switched out Coolant pipe Plastic pipes for Aluminum pipes (was done free under warranty first 5 years?). Cardan Shaft(drive shafts running to the front or rear diff (look for vibration on acceleration). Has it been done? Front diffs replaced? sometimes (you will hear a fairly load humming at neutral loaded speeds) Auto Tranny Solenoid replaced? (basically if it does erratically HARD downshifts Battery condition?, if not kept up can cause electrical issues.
