  1. Raffi, I am experience the same leak(i think). It is the passenger side of the engine and seems to be leaking from an area where it looks as if some sensor wire is going in. ?? Is this the same location, Raffi? Does anyone have any insight on this leak? I will take and post a picture tomorrow. Thanks, jon
  2. I have tried to remove the plastic that covers the strut towers in the front of the car but the screw just keeps on spining. Nothing is holding the piece that the screw screws in to. ?? This is very annoying, what the secret? - jon -
  3. $150 for a new latch, installed and closes better than i could have dreamed off. thanks for all your help guys!
  4. :clapping: A set of old tire irons and duct tape did the trick. I pryed the hood open but now I am looking for a replacement latch. I checked Ebay but found nothing, does anyone know where I might find one used/cheap somewhere besides LA Porsche(i already checked)? Thanks,
  5. I was thinking that the worst case scenario is to cut through and then replace the hood. $300 for a hood from LA Porsche then add paint cost etc... Cheaper than an aero bumper I guess. This sucks, I drove my car for 2 days after finally fixing the broken off bolt in the stearing knuckle. Thanks for your help guys.
  6. my car is a 2000. I have found the hidden hood release in the front bumper but nothing is working. I'm about to get the saw out and start cutting the front bumper, it's about time for that aero kit anyway.
  7. I was replacing my rotors & pads this week when I ran into a snag on the front left caliper bolt... it friggen snapped off! I was lucky enought to pull everything off but I need to purchase a used or new steering knuckle (hopefully LA Porsche Dismantlers has one). I need to remove the tie-rod from the knuckle and I was wonder if anyone (or the manual) had any insight on separating them. ?? I tried hammering it loose but wouldn't budge, should I buy a puller? Please let me know, I am very anxious to get back in my porsche! My car has been jacked up for the past few days in the ole garage. THanks, - jon -
