Will Boxster seats fit in a 911?

I know this is an old thread, but perhaps you have some input here in regards to putting 996 electric seats (no memory) in to a 986 that has only electric recline, but manual height and fore/aft sliding adjustments. I'm told that these seats are interchangeable with a simple unplug/plug of the wiring harness and bolts for the seats. I'm also told that seats with memory function are not easily interchangeable with non-memory function seats, but can be done. Anyone know these statements to be true or false? -
When I searched for a tow hitch on the U-Haul website, they said that they do not have a hitch available for a 986, but would want to fabricate a custom one for free. I'm assuming they would design and start to manufacture one for the 986 to offer it on the market. The only catch is that you would have to leave the car at their site for 2-3 days in Tempe, AZ while the design and build one. Anyone in the Tempe area that is willing to do this?
