  1. Okay, picked up the car this evening. They found a bad valve in the fuel tank and replaced the hoses too. It took them 8 hrs. to perform. They filled it up, and it's back on the road. It feels like they filled it up with 87 octane though. I usually give it 100, car lost it's response. Well, I'll just have to burn it up. :drive:
  2. Thanks Loren, The car is still at the dealership. They have not yet looked at it. I will post progress when I get it back.
  3. Okay, it's at the dealer. They could not work on it today. They can't explain it yet. I will keep all interested updated.
  4. Hello all, This is happening to my 2003 C4S right now. I checked the fuse and it's fine. It will spit up every drop of fuel that you try to put in. I have another 22 miles before it's empty. Luckly, I'm home and the dealer is about 17 miles away. :( What else could be causing this?
  5. Found it. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...=&st=entry640
  6. Hello I have noticed some photos showing the car lifted from somewhere center/rear/under the car. What lift point is that? I want to remove both of the rear wheels. Thank you
  7. Hello group, I have to say, my Porsche Dealership gives awesome service. My car was scheduled for tomorrow a.m. . I dropped the car off at 1p.m. this afternoon, at 5pm my car was completed. My hats off to them. The noise issue turned out to be no more then a cracked tailpipe bracket section. (between the tailpipe and the muffler) They re-welded the bracket that the factory supplied on the car. They also told me that it happens all the time. Noise is Gone!!! :jump: My only disappointment was that the mechanic did a bad job aligning the tailpipe. (it was aimed out to much like 2 inches.) But I adjusted myself when I got home. I feel relieved that it was a easy fix and not serious engine problem. Ciao
  8. Hello all, Ok, I re-reinstalled the Fabspeed intake (mod), car runs normal again. :clapping: The only thing I feel could of caused the problem is that maybe the engine management system needed to be reset for a longer period. (2 min) not much time. All I can tell you is that the exhaust had a very strong gasoline smell to it. For now, I will leave the Fabspeed (mod) in. This Thursday the car is going to the P service center for a check up (for that knocking/rattle sound) and hopefully I do not need a new engine or something. JG
  9. Ok, I un-installed my Fabspeed intake unit, re-installed my factory parts. My car is idling high and when I drive its like bucking. It almost wants to back fire. It is idling at about 1100 rpm. Everything is installed tight. I disconnected the battery for about 2 minutes and reconnected it. Still doing it. Any clue? It's going into service on Thursday. JG
  10. I believe that the PSE exhaust is causing the problem I am having with the rattling noise. The problem is the mechanical piece that is rigged to the muffler to regulate the sound. I was tapping around the area to try to identify this most annoying sound and I think I found it. I will call the Porsche dealer tomorrow and schedule a visit. I would recommend the Ruf exhaust. It looks like it weighs much less and I'm sure it sounds great. If this problem can't be fixed I might switch. Has anyone here with PSE had this problem? Its like a bunch of loose chains when driving in gear in the lower rpm range.
  11. hello all, OK, I was right. The water pump was on its way out. Warrantee covers all costs. Later, JG
  12. It's fine on acceleration though. Just happens when slowing down.(It chatters) There is no smoke or oil leaks. I just had it's 15000 mile service at the dealer a few weeks back. Thanks
  13. Hello, After having issues with my C4S, my Cayenne S is looking for some attention. My Cayenne has just been serviced at the P dealer. Wouldn't you know, it's making a clonking sound behind the radiator. My good guess, a bad water pump is around the corner. Any suggestions? The vehicle is a 2003 and has now 47600 miles on the clock. Thank you, JG
  14. Hello group, I have a 2003 C4S that has this clanking noise when decelerating under 4000 rpm. Sounds like a chain rattle. The car is equipped with PSE. Sounds terrible! Any suggestions? JG :help:
  15. Hello, It could be a cracked bracket on the tail-pipe. Just had mine replaced at the dealer. It was making me nuts!
