  1. Curious to know, has anyone else had Engine Control Faults going off while driving their 718, along with “reduction“ of power? Both times it’s happened to me on the highway, after continuously driving about an hour or an hour and a half. Was using, off & on, the adaptable cruise control. The power reduction is so significant that I had to pull off and stop as I was afraid I was going to get hit from behind. The warning says it’s drivable but to take it to a “workshop.“ Both times it’s reset itself; diagnostics revealed either a mismatch of __?__ or most recently the PDK “got too hot” according to the tech. 2 episodes (w/in 3 months) supposedly of 2 different causes for the warnings especially concern me. 2018 model.
