I know this post is going to be somewhat strange as I am looking for a tailgate handle camera for VW Golf MK4 at Porsche forum. However the normal tailgate handle for Cayenne and VW Golf MK4 Variant seem to be same part. So the camera replacement should be the same I think. My original tailgate handle code is 1J0827566F/E. Apparently this is the same used on Cayenne 9PA. According to oemwolf.com this part was changed to 1J0827566H then to 1J0827566L. What I am looking for is a part like this one -> https://car-solutions.com/en/tailgate-handle-camera-for-porsche-cayenne-volkswagen-touareg/ or maybe this -> https://www.installer.com/item/display_item.php?it=955oem-cam So far what I gather is that 1J0827566L is used on Touareg also. http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/RDW/modell/TOUA/year/2010/drive_standart/616/hg_ug/827/subcategory/827010/part_id/0/lang/e#sec_35 There is also listed the handle with camera 7L6827609A which again according to oemwolf.com was changed to 7L6827609 without any letters in the end. It fits perfectly to place but the camera cable plug is just in a wrong location and it is impossible to tighten it with camera in there. I would need to cut a piece to fit (see picture) If possible, I would not want to cut anything. Also the microswitch location is different on this version. (not that it matters but it is different) So, I was wondering, is the Porsche version same as the Touareg version? Does anybody know? Because this 3rd party camera handle https://car-solutions.com/en/tailgate-handle-camera-for-porsche-cayenne-volkswagen-touareg/ seems to have the same microswitch location as my original handle without camera, makes me think maybe camera cable goes from a different place also.
