  1. I recently changed the wheels and tires on my 2006 C4S, from 19" summer tires (Michelin Pilot) /19" wheels to 18" winter tires (Pirelli Sottozero Serie II)/18" wheels. the TPC shows "summer tires." There is no option to select winter tires, nor to enter any information regarding the new tires. The TPC is otherwise working correctly. Is this just a part of the TPC "learning process" that will self-correct, or should I be concerned that there is a TPC fault.
  2. Hey, Loren: Thanks for this follow-up. Am I correct in interpreting the diagram as indicating that the cover(s) snap into the floor of the frunk and need only to be pulled from there, i.e: there are no fasteners that need to be removed?
  3. Loren: Thanks for your reply, but until I am able to remove the cover from the drive/amp, I cannot access the dvd drive. Until then I won't know if the drive is merely clipped onto the cover, or if the keys will be needed. You can see in the photo the cover that I need to remove. Thanks again, A. J.
  4. The navigation dvd drive in my 2006 997.1 C4S has failed. It will not eject the dvd. I want to remove the drive unit in order to attempt a repair or, if necessary, replace it. My problem is that I have been unable to remove the plastic piece that covers the dvd drive and audio amp. Porsche said "it just drops down." I have pushed, pulled, and cursed at the cover but it will not budge. I hesitate to use a tool as a lever for fear of breaking the cover. Do I need to eat more Wheaties so I can pull harder on the cover, or am I just missing a simple solution?
