  1. My '03 996 coupe with a manual transmission recently threw the P 0501 code which I am told relates to the Variable Speed Sensor. Has anyone remedied this scenario? Thanks in advance.
  2. It is a CDR23 - the car is a 2003 C2. At present, the stereo shows no sign of life at all. RFM, are you saying to use jumper cables to make a loop of the + and - cables? FWIW, the car sat without a battery for 4 days. How do I get the stereo unit out to check its fuses? Thank you all for the input - I truly appreciate it. Bill
  3. I checked the fuses - they're fine. I held the TP button in for 10 - 20 -etc seconds, but Zero sign of life. Any suggestions other than Best Buy for a new stereo?
