  1. JFP, good info but there are no Porsche parts, like a sensor or solenoid, available and nobody who knows how to test the sensor. Does anyone here know if damage will be done by driving with the CEL P1341 ? Or, is it likely to quit and leave me on the side of the road?
  2. I'm in the Colorado mountains 600 miles from my home in Scottsdale and my check engine light goes on (2001 C2 cab). Code reader says "P1341 - Camshaft adjustment Bank 2". I've got no symptoms, a smooth and consistent idle, smooth acceleration, and quick start-up. What would you do? Drive home as is? Get it flat-bedded? So far. I've decided to get a local IPA.
  3. I installed a Pioneer 4500NEX with wireless CarPlay in my '01 996 C2 and it works beautifully. It fits into the dash by moving the HVAC controls to the bottom (easy). I also installed a backup camera that displays in the Pioneer screen when shifted into reverse. Now my 2001 is updated, my iphone syncs wirelessly as I enter the car, all the great features of CarPlay and my wife no longer whines about my tunes.
