  1. I have a 2001 boxster with stock suspension and have a chance to get a set of (4) Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires with Porsche 19" cayman 2013 Wheels. Tire sizes are: FRONT - 235/40/19 REAR - 265/40/19 Wheel sizes are: FRONT - 8.5 JX 19 REAR - 10 JX 19 will these fit with spacers or is the tire diameter to big? I know the 235/35/19 and 265/35/19 are recommended.
  2. I got back from vacation and finally fixed the problem. The key cyclinder had failed. I had to break it out of the steering lock mechanism and the remove the mechanism. Thankfully i had a lock mechanism and cylinder from a parts car i had bought security module for my 2001 and had not used lock set.
  3. I have tried moving the steering wheel back and forth and i put wd 40 in the key cylinder, i even taped on the mechanical section in dash while moving the steering wheel, no luck with anything.
  4. I have a 2004 boxster S 6 speed manual. My daughter parked it for track practice and said she got through and tried to start it and key turned all the way around " don't know how" and wheel locked. So when i got there wheel was locked and key was locked in off postion. I had a ignition switch from my other project boxster and pluged it in and started car with screwdriver and backed it straight on to a trailer. I have taken the switch off the back of the locking mechanism and still key will not turn and steering wheel is locked. Can't remove key cylinder nor whole lock mechanism because its loc
