Yes, it can only be plugged in one way, several people have said that plugs can be reversed but I don't see how. No other way to plug in except just one way. And yes bought OEM sensor
Hello, hope I can get some help here, so I removed front bumper on 2017 Cayenne S Hybrid to have scratches repaired and repainted. After reinstalling, the A/C was not cooling down, noticed the ambient temp read 31F consistently eventhough it's about 80F out. Assuming the Ambient temp sensor went bad, ordered anotherone and replaced it, easy swap. Shortly after installing I get a "check side marker" error message. Now A/C still doesnt work, ambient temp still reads 31F and side marker is out lol. Removed bumper again, doublechecked everything, wires ect.... car only has 6k miles. Everything clean. Blew out the contacts made sure they were clean, still same thing. Ran a scan on it, no codes other than "Ambient temp too low" What gives?? Fwiw I had the battery unplugged while we removed and reinstalled bumper.
