  1. I used an option decoder at http://www.kindel.com/Porsche/options.asp and found out I could not get informaiton for two options listed under my hood. Here is what I found. Any hints on what the last two are? My car is a 1999 C2 Cab.

    C02 Equipped with catalytic converter

    139 Seat Heating - Left

    220 Locking differential

    224 Active Brake Differential

    340 Seat heating - Right

    408 18" Technology Design Wheels [1996]

    437 Comfort seat left

    438 Comfort seat right

    446 996: Colored Wheel Crests

    490 Hi-Fi sound system

537 Left seat with positrol and lumbar

    551 Air Deflector (Cabriolet)

586 Lumbar support - left seat

    692 Remote CD changer (6-disc)

    222 ?

    234 ?

    Thanks for any help.

  2. Just installed Fabspeed Cat Bypass Pipes on my 99' 996 (Stock mufflers still on). No check engine light and the car is definitely quicker. I can feel more torque and quicker acceleration (hands down no question) and they sound great! Surprisingly they are barely louder than the stock set-up so I am thinking about buying their mufflers. Great fit and finish as well. The install was fairly easy however the 02 sensors were the hard part. Basically have to remove the airbox to get at the plugs, label them and install them in the new pipes in their respective order. Well worth the money in my opinion!

    99' 996 (Current)

    98 Boxster

    00 Boxster S

    99 Boxster

How much time did it take to install, I have been thinking about getting a set myself.
