  1. Hi. can someone ID a part for me please. Small grey, plastic gizmo with an electrical connector and 3 small bore (around 1/8" maybe) vacuum hoses. The smallest hose is about 2" long and connects to the inlet Y-pipe on the right side, just before it meets the throttle body. Thanks
  2. Yeah. Porsche seem to call it a "Controller," which suggests it's jammed with electronics, rather than a bunch of plates and oil. What's strange is I'd expect the same unit to be in the 997 but the 997 does call for an oil change. Must be a different unit Good news for me though Thanks
  3. Hoping someone can confirm. From what I can gather, the 996 AWD controller is a sealed unit and doesn't require an oil change. There's no service item listed in the service schedule. The 997 requires a change every 12years or 120k miles but seems the 996 does not. Can someone confirm. Thanks
