  1. Thanks for this. My plan is to keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse. Any thoughts on additives to restore any seals that may have perished?
  2. Sorry, I am new here and thought it pulled the model through from the profile. It’s a 3L Diesel MY11.
  3. I have owned the car 6 months and it was on its second oil service and mechanic said he thought there was a leak coming from the rear crankshaft seal. There is a little oil in the tray but not liquid but still a tiny bit moist. Doing about 300 miles per week. I know the RMS can be a problem but it’s not losing any oil and I was thinking about using an additive to try and hydrate the seal to see if it stops. Any recommendations on additive or indeed the leak and if I am not losing any oil is it an issue? TIA
