  1. Congrats on the acquisition - I hope. I'm 5 days into 986 ownership and attempting to resolve the same issue - windows are in the up position: 1. Windows dutifully perform clearance drop when opening/closing door. 2. Windows do not perform clearance drop when operating top latch, or opening/closing the top. 3. Center console switches will not engage windows. All this in concert with no interior lights or door lights. I've checked all fuses including C3 and D1. I did push what I think to be the micro-switch button under the top latch with no reaction from the windows. Hmmmmm. Will let you know if I come up with something!
