  1. Hello, I am hoping to find here some tech gurus who might be able to help me with this nightmare I have in my hands. I am an automotive tech with 30+ years of experience but limited experience on Porsche and don't own a Porsche specific scanner. Other than that I have access to quite a bit of aftermarket information but unfortunately most programs I have access to have limited Porsche info as well. I also purchased subscription from the OEM and found proper wiring diagrams, but also not enough information on Transfer Case module. I am stubborn enough to believe I have a CAN problem but I need some help from someone with more experience in this particular type of problem. The transfer case actuator was replaced with new unit, TC control unit was also replaced but with good known used unit. I keep getting code 2039-08 in TC module and 2053 in ABS module. Verified all wiring continuities between TC module and TC actuator, and all are good verified integrity of CAN wires between TC module and instrument cluster and they are all good. When I have Snap On Zeus scanner hooked up and go on life data in TC module it shows good CAN with all other modules except Instrument Cluster which goes Ok, Not Good, fluctuating. The code in ABS unit is suggesting no communication with TC control unit. Also I don't have any CAN communication out of the instrument cluster to the DLC, but verified good CAN entering the Instrument cluster. I am just curious if anybody has encountered this situation and if any suggestions available. Thank you for the patience to read this long message
