Ok - I've reviewed the tutorial by KS- CS as http://www.planet-9.com/reviews/electronics/p384-durametric-tutorial-part-2-3a-advanced-functions.html and the procedure requires the Durametrics version 2 cable. I've got version 1 purchased in 2006, so I will upgrade when I find the proper hydrolyic unit. I use a Motive pressure bleeder so I should be in good shape. Thanks for your help.

Thanks - how can I find which hydraulic units will fit mycar. I have a 2000 C4 (Millenium Edition) with a hydraulic unit part number of 996.355.755.47 Dealer says 996.355.755.61 is the replacement but also will need a new sensor and mounting brackets. I am consider a used part to avoid the several thousand dollar repair at the dealer There are plenty on ebay and only a few for C4

I've followed the troubleshooting guide for the pressure sensor connector and found pin 3 on the wiring harness connector, which should read 0v, shows 5v. This indicates a short some where in the wiring. My Porsche dealer said the ABS/PSM hydraulic unit is bad although the fault is in the wiring harness. This seems inconsistent with the fault in the connector. Any thoughts on how to trouble shoot this further. I need to correct this. At step 4 of the attached, I get 5v from pin 2.
