  1. Old thread, but not a lot of info on the web about this. My 981 right folding mirror quit. $437 for a 'mirror base w/ power fold'. Part # 99173121910. I got lucky and found a used one on Ebay for $170. However, It was such a pain to replace that I'm starting to wish I went new... because I don't want to repeat the process again! 😉 Took me almost 2 hours to do. I could probably to the next one in 30min. A lot of prying on flimsy plastic tabs to get the mirror cover off of the metal mirror base.
