  1. I have the Durametric software but I don't think it's the Pro series. I did a scan a few months ago after I discovered the cruise didn't work and there was a message regarding the cruise control but I don't remember what it said and I don't think I had an option to change anything on the cruise control system. I'll scan it again and post the message.
  2. I have a 2002 996. I replaced the four stalk turn signal/computer switch/headlight high-low beam and cruise control switch when the plastic turn signal canceling mechanism broke. The cruise control worked fine until I replaced the assembly but now it won't set. The indicator light on the dash comes on when the cruise switch is engaged but it will not set at any speed. I heard somewhere that the new switch has to be programmed before it will work but that makes no sense to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
