  1. Posted in another forum, but wanted to share some info. Had hard start issue on my ‘00 986 base. Wanted to check the fuel pressure and couldn’t find concrete answer on any forum or internet search on correct adapter. Only thing found was to get Porsche 9559 connector or adapter from Actron. I wanted it immediately and didn’t want to ship anything to test in a few days. Innova 3640 - fits perfect. No adapters needed. No right angle needed, straight on and can lay gauge over rear shelf while jump relay to test pressure. Bought at Autozone for $50.
  2. I just bought a 2000 with 40k yesterday. Dealer states top worked fine and even had pics of top up and down. It came with factory hard top and was obviously installed when I drove and took word that top worked - my fault, but saw pics and just trusted. Took hard top off today and the top will not go up. I can here motor “clunk” when switch pushed but top and body piece not moving and motor not making any attempt to run. Will not make sound when pull relay, put brake off, etc., so making me think it’s the motor itself. Any ideas? Tried to put in service mode so I can check MAF and TB, hard starts - which is weird as started fine last 2 days of looking at it- and on way home today threw 1130 and 1143 codes.
