Hi Have searched and found plenty of info on this forum about the Oxygen Sensors and as a first step it was suggested to remove and clean, are we just talking about an electrical plug connection or can you clean the actual sensors? if so recommendations on what to use please.

Hi Is there a security code for the CDR23 with Bose in a 2004 986 or is it just coded to the car? want to disconnect the battery so checking first if i will need a code? Also the Sound button doesn't work so can't change the tone/balance etc, any resets or tricks for this please? Thanks

Thanks Loren Yes I went up front and listened carefully for Stage 1 and fairly sure they/it are not working (will check again when I get it up in the air) and the engine compartment fan is defiantly not working so will check connector as suggested thankyou. Had a 987.1 previously and all fans worked with activation on Durametric so presume should do the same on the 986, only got it 2 days ago so lots to check!

Hi Just purchased a Boxster 2004 986 2.7 and when checking with Durametric in activations the stage 1 fans and engine compartment fan won't turn on, the stage 2 fans work fine, where is a good place to start looking please?
