  1. Hi Fellow Porsche Nut Jobs, LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON LISTING PRICE FOR MY CAR. I'm considering selling my 2002 996.2 Cabrio Tiptronic and replacing it with another 996 (this time a 6 speed manual): - 161K miles on chassis - 59K miles on fully documented engine rebuild with IMS Upgrade. The IMS upgrade was listed as a "Pro Engineering IMS" which I can only surmise as the mechanic being lazy and shortening "LN Engineering Pro IMS". The rebuild was extremely thorough with very detailed descriptions of the rebuild. - Bilstein B6 dampers installed by my trusted Porsche SoCal race shop in 2021. Mechanic confirms everything else on suspension is nice and tight. - New Textar brake pads installed 2021. - Full alignment with corner balancing performed in 2021 by same guy who aligns every single Singer Porsche. - New engine mounts, secondary air pump, headlight completely rewired in 2021 - Has Kenwood Car Play (bluetooth, ready for camera, Pandora, etc) - Aftermarket LED fog lights. - 2 keys - "New-ish" Continental Sport Contact Extreme tires all around (Front = 225/40 x18 dated 2019, Rears = 295/35 x18 dated 2020). - Every single button, dial, function on the car works as it should from the factory. CONS: - Has a "sweaty" RMS (term used by the Porsche tech). It leaks about 1/2 teaspoon of oil per week. - The right fender has a small spot where the clear coat has spiderwebbed on the surface. - No record of service on Tiptronic. - Has typical creaks and minor rattles typical of a 20 yr old car, especially a cabriolet. But mostly interior plastic against plastic. - Original seats have tears, but will include a nearly brand new set of 996.1 power seats. - Has a small spot on hood/bonnet about 1cm diameter. Covered up by the stripe so can't see it, but it's there. With that said, I'm looking for honest, fair, and unbiased recommendations on what I should list this car at.
