  1. Thanks for the PET diagram, but I have already consulted the above diagram and need the actual eye connectors that go to the coil. The 964 PET has an entire section dedicated to electrical connectors, but the 993 one seems to be without it? I was wondering if there was such a section for the 993 that I am somehow missing?
  2. I was removing the ignition coil, and heard a crack from my ratchet. I seem to have cracked off a piece of the coil along with the very tight connector. Having a spare coil on hand, I tried to remove the nut to no avail. Hitting myself on the head due to my idiocy, I removed the rest of the nuts with a small impact driver with ease without breaking the coil. Since the larger connector which I think is the ground (green) for the DME to control timing seems to be a nonstandard item, along with the rest of the connectors on the engine wiring harness, is there any source for them? I can't seem to find anything in PET? I probably will just go with a standard ring connector if an OEM like replacement is not available, but having some source for OEM connectors without having to purchase an entire wiring harness would be very helpful!
  3. Thanks @JFP in PA, will definitely look there and try the part. I appreciate the welcome (and help)... I have been lurking around here for some time and it's nice to finally have a question of my own :).
  4. I disassembled the door latch mechanism and removed the key cylinder, I noticed there was a rubber O-ring stuck inside with grease which is torn apart. Porsche does not list parts for the 993's latch mechanism. It appears that PET lists an O-ring for older 911's key cylinders, is that part interchangeable for the 993 lock cylinders?
