This is exactly what I want to do in my boxster as well! However, since I have a 2003, don't I have a problem with the MOST fiber optic system that my car uses? I read somewhere that the speakers are connected with fiber, so does replacing the stock radio mean that I have to replace the speakers as well (and rewire everything)? I want to replace the speakers at some point as well, but not right away. How do people solve the MOST problem? PS the combo i'm looking at is the Alpine IVA-W200 with bluetooth, GPS and iPod modules added on to it. Rock!
