  1. Hi @Mart15 @Mart15 I just had a very similar issue with the rear trunk mechanism on my 2006 Cayenne acting up and not locking correctly. The rear interior lights not turning on and off when opening the trunk. My left tail light and license plate lights not working correctly sometimes. It was a heavy rainy night when all this happened and I heard my alarm go off and wasn't able to turn it off with the remote. I also heard a weird noise from the trunk locking unit/actuator. I'm assuming I have a water issue as well from the rain. My question is where is this module that controls all these things in the rear? I tried to read and follow your post but I got a little confused. My cayenne is a left hand drive. Would it be in the rear right side panel? Any chance you have the part number as well? I would really appreciate your help!
