Not sure! I thought that maybe some codes on the report would indicate the faults. Will check with the seller. -
Hello! I'm looking at purchasing a 2003 996 C4s and heard that another buyer was concerned about the average speed but don't know what to expect here. Is ~40mph unusual? Any insight is appreciated! Is anything seriously wrong? Any potential negotiation points? Hello! Thanks in advance for your help. Someone from my local Porsche group suggested I inquire here about an over-rev report I received as part of my due diligence on a 2012 997.2 base (6-speed) I'm considering buying. The PPI was conducted by German Car Repair in Alpharetta, GA, and showed the following results: TOTAL HOURS 1848.84 RANGE 1 - 1124 @ 1846.66H RANGE 2 - 40 @ 1549.41H RANGE 3 - 22 @ 1549.41H RANGE 4 - 106 @ 1549.41H RANGE 5 - ----------------- RANGE 6 - ----------------- There is conflicting information online about how severe Range 4 overrevs are, and it's interesting that the ignitions are higher in Range 4 than Range 3. The clutch was replaced after this report was done, and has been driven over 10K miles since with no issues (according to the seller). Any insights would be appreciated! Best, Max
