  1. Hey everyone, I’m in the process of retrofitting a nav unit to my new to me 997.1 C2 and noticed that my Bose amp seems to be on the way out. Lot of corrosion leaking from on corner of the unit. I just want to swap another a used amp in its place (or aftermarket if there are any plug and play, my search’s were somewhat inconclusive). I am seeing on eBay replacement amps in the $500s (used) but amps for the cayenne which look exactly the same, same connections, different part number are around $150. would I be able to use this cayenne amp as a replacement for mine, with or without having someone code it to my car? Any info about what I could use as a swap for this amp would be really appreciated. Thanks!
