  1. Hello all, I am getting into this very interesting topic. I am experiencing exactly the same issue with my Porsche Boxster S Phase 2 3.4 2009 with PCM 3.0 and Bose sound amplifier option. I have a random cutout of the front stereo sound (only the analogic rear woofer still works) when driving around 45 minutes and stopping the engine. When I start the motor and PCM again, the issue appears. When there was no sound I was seeing errors relating to the MOST communication between the PCM and amp. I have to wait around 15 minutes in order to the see issue disappear : the front stereo sound comes back to normal without any issue. It does not happen when driving less then ½ hour… My batterie is 100% brand new (Porsche OEM). I think it is coming from the amp that is over heating and when starting it again, the wake up electronic relay does not work until the temperature is lower … Based on your through, which test can I do the identify the root cause ? PCM update My PCM version is 1.41? How to do it without going to a Porsche reseller and buy a lot ? And not loose my MAPS license. Is there a DVD to do it ? Is there a real TSB fix ? How to apply it ? Bose amplifier update? I do not know my actual version. How to know it and forecast an eventual update ? Make the Bose amplifier repaired (around 250 euros in Germany). What would you do please ? Thank you in advance. Regards, JC
