  1. I have a 99 Boxster Base LHD 2.5L with a new top with window and replaced all the parts in the storage box area including cables, rails, arms, transmissions to the newer version and the top works great as it should when putting the top up in closed position. Clamshell fits flush with the body without issue. When putting the top down the clamshell sits up about an inch or so from fitting flush and the top light stays lit in the dash because it isn't going down enough to shut off the sensor switch. I have tried adjusting the length of the pushrods both at the 10mm bolt on the arm and adjusted the plastic ball joint caps farther out and closer in to see if this would hep reduce or eliminate the gap between the clamshell and the body. I have measured the ball joints on the boomerang arms to 195mm to the storage box rubber gasket as a reference point to assure the transmissions are synced. I am at a loss as to what needs to be adjusted in order to close the clamshell when top is down. Anyone able to help me figure out what needs to be adjusted??
